-Week of April 23rd-27th The sun is a shining, and we feel so Good! Let us hope it is shining all week with some warmer temperatures- we hope!
In Spelling, our words end in el and le. Be sure to study them. We will discuss the best way to do that.
In English, we will recopy our personal narratives on learning something new. Then, we begin adjectives. Words that describe nouns and tell what kind and how many about them. We have a fun project ahead where you will describe yourself.
In Science, we will finish weather and water. We will also celebrate Earth Day with a very informative Weekly Reader. Our all school Mass on Wednesday will focus on Earth Day too.
In Religion, we will finish up Family Life and begin Chapter 15 on the Sacraments. We will group them according to their signs/symbols and review the ones we have already received.
In Reading, this story is a "gooder." The next three stories are favorites of mine and Miss Taff. The story "Seven Spools of Thread" is a fable with a beautiful proverb. You will make up your own proverb and illustrate it. The comprehension skill is drawing conclusions based on details. I will post the vocabulary words on the homework page.
Let's enjoy this week and the blessing of sunshine and each other in our lives.
